Actually as it turned out on Christmas Eve, Beyond Measure caught up with the little upstart. Possibly because I made Bob's Polenta Waffles smeared with Cashew-Cilantro Pesto--which I then decorated with strips of roasted red peppers and olives. Taste treats and both from book numero uno.

The pleasure was all mine, Jean. It was great to have a chance to visit with you yesterday and sample a few tidbits. The books are going to be great gifts for the foodies on my list. Beth

I am partial to "older sisters" since I am one! I am convinced, however, that I'll welcome the "newcomer" into my kitchen! Happy Holidays, Jean, and thanks for contributing to good, healthy, economical eating! Pam
