Terri,

Great to hear from you! Yes, I remember us sitting there gabbing while your husband kept us posted on the weather.

And yes, as you can see by the website, I'm now the hippie cook. Too fun on hashing all that over with you. Thanks for the encouragement.

Check the books page here on the site. The 09 holiday title is called Hippie Kitchen. So the book came first before the cook--chuckle.

Stay in touch and subscribe if you want. That way you get an update when I make a new blog post every now and then.

Cheers. Glad to make your acquaintance too--and maybe we'll meet up again. I'll be coming back to San Francisco this spring to do some events at the farmers markets and for Slow Food.

Jean,

Remember the day our flights were delayed at SFO airport on December 10th? This is Terri who was waiting for a flight to Las Vegas.

I was wondering if you were successful in changing your name to the HippieCook. Now you can start putting Hippie in the titles of your future books.

I just finished reading some of your postings on measurefree.com and I don't know where you find the time to experiment with your cooking, growing your own food, and writing! You are amazing.

Anyway, Happy New Year and I'm glad we met.
