Minimalist Column/Minimalist Flash Cooking
9 August 2007 by Jean JohnsonI was thrilled to see Mark Bittman’s Minimalist column (NYT) take a second run at what he terms ultrafast cooking. He originally thought his speedy ideas would be a hit for hot summer nights, but the 400 hits his blog got told him people are motivated by more than the dog days. Amen.
For me it’s called flash cooking, and I’ve been at it a few years now. Once I get this blog up and running, expect oodles of seasonal meal ideas done ultra-pronto–all with nary a measuring spoon.
